Pregnancy stretch marks06/29/2006 |
Is there any permanent cure for the pregnancy stretch marks? Please give your suggestion.
As you know, these tend to be permanent. However, the use of topical Retin-A does cause some filling in of the depression if used in the early months after pregnancy. While it may not be perfect, it may minimize the stretch marks in some individuals. There are also now fillers that can be put into the depression site. I would urge that you see your board certified dermatologist who can give you more information and advise you on safety issues, as well as possible outcome.
