Mild injury to the brain
Last week, accidentally I hit my head to the car door(while my friend was closing the door). I just felt mild pain for 5 mins but after that I was ok. There was no blood. But I heard about the blood clots and was worried whether it may lead to blood clot in future. Can you please guide me whether I need to undergo any tests? Will this effect in future?
For minor trauma such as you sustained, it is generally not necessary to seek any medical attention or receive any testing. There is usually no short or long term health consequence of minor trauma such as you described. However, if you are having any unusual physical symptoms in the aftermath of this event, then you should contact your physician to discuss what if anything should be done.
