Sarcoidosis |
Recurrence06/13/2006 |
In 1973 I deveoped painful swelling in my feet and ankles. After many tests at the Kelsey Siebold Clinic in Houston, followed by a biopsy on lymph nodes between my lungs, I was diagnosed with sarcoid. Within a few months it went away as mysteriously as it had appeared. Now almost 30 years later, my feet are swelling again. Can this be a recurrence after all this time?
Leg swelling can occur for a variety of reasons. It is usually a sign that something is wrong. I would recommend a formal evaluation by a physician to look into the cause of your leg swelling.
