Post neck fusion physical therapy06/13/2006 |
I had my C3 and C4 fused about 3 years ago. I never had any physical therapy; I am now experiencing much pain. It feels like someone is sitting on my shoulders. Is it too late for therapy? And if not, what can I do at home?
You probably could participate in physical therapy and/or home exercises. However, it has been 3 years since your original fusion. It is, thus, also possible that there might be new issues that have not been diagnosed (or that some old issue is again flaring up). We suggest that you seek out professional advice via a physician. Perhaps you could consult with the physician who did your surgery.
