I am taking carb/levo for Parkinson`s Disease08/09/2006 |
Can I take b vitamins with the medication b2, b6,b12 with this medication. also b3 b1
There is no reason why the B vitamins cannot be taken in persons with PD on carbidopa/levodopa. Vitamin B6 can interfere with the absorption of levodopa, but with the addition of carbidopa to the medication (as in the pill Sinemet), this effect is overcome.
