Root Canals |
Loose tooth08/18/2006 |
I just had a root canal done and they have not put the temporary or perm crown, only a temp filling and the filling popped out last night and one side of the tooth is loose - I afraid I am going to lose that tooth and my dentist will not see my until Monday - please advise
You may have cracked the tooth or at least the crown of the tooth. This should be evaluated as soon as possible. If you cannot be seen until Monday, do not chew anything on that tooth because you may enlarge or increase the crack. I cannot tell you if you will lose the tooth or not.
