Dental care while pregnancy09/05/2006 |
I just found out that I`m pregnant and was planning on having some dental work done in the next couple of months because my gums have receded in a few spots. Can I still have my dental work done?
It depends how far you are during pregnancy. We recommend receiving dental therapy during second trimester. Patients generally experience GI problems during first trimester and it becomes harder to sit for a long time during last trimester.
