Frequent mouth ulcers09/05/2006 |
I frequently get painful mouth ulcers on my gums,tongue.What can I do about these? I have a positive ANA >1:640 and have seen a rheumatologist in the past and at that time only had these 2 sxs of Lupus. My dentist doesn`t offer much as far as suggestions. Sometimes I will have 4-5 at a time. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I recommend you seeing a specialist in the field of oral pathology. Sometimes topical steroid application may help. However, this should be used under a doctor's observation.
