Treating Trichotillomania

Question:

My sister pulls all of her eyelashes out and her eye brows now she doesn't have any. Now I'm afraid that she might start pulling out her hair what could be an alternative?

Answer:

It sounds like your sister has trichotillomania which is a form of an anxiety disorder, it is treatable with either medication or therapy or both but it requires seeing a behavioral specialist.
