Hear through skin?10/30/2006 |
I can hear through my skin. I have not found any information on this and I would like to know am I unique? Ive kept this to myself for a long time. Im 46 years old and a single parent. When I touch my skin I can hear it except these areas (lower legs lower arms and privates). Has this ever be documented before?
I am not aware of any auditory component of the skin per se, however, the auditory apparatus in the brain can pick up scratching in other parts of the body. I would share this with your primary care physician and demonstrate it to that individual.
