Braces |
Help10/11/2006 |
My brackets on my braces have popped off three times in 5 months and today one bracket popped off. My orthodontist gets mad when they come off.Is there any way I can fix it?
There is no way you can replace your own brackets. It is most likely that you are eating something that is contributing to this. Review the list of foods to avoid such as hard candy, gum, hard crusts, chewing meat off bones and ice chewing. You might discuss with your orthodontist about using a different bonding agent, such as Concise, which may be stronger.
Good luck.
