I`m having deep pain where skin cancer was10/26/2006 |
I was wondering if I should seek medical attention? I had skin cancer removed about 8 mo`s ago and I`ve developed a very deep sharp pain where it was removed from.Do I need to be concerned about it or is it just from the surgery? Thank you
Post surgical scars can sometimes have varying sensations ranging from itching to pain. Sites of prior skin cancer also have to be checked for possible recurrence. However, pain, is not a common symptom for recurrence.
If it is to a degree that causes noticeable discomfort, it should be checked by a physician.
