Runny nose caused by stroke?11/21/2006 |
My mother had a hem. stroke a year ago last March and ever since then, she has had a runny nose. What is causing this? she is in misery.
I am not aware of any connection between a runny nose and having had a hemorrhagic stroke in the past.
I suggest that she see her local physician and make sure that there is not some underlying cause for the persistant runny nose, such as a sinus infection.
