Am 20 years old. my gums are bleeding severly and recently my teeth started external decaying. dentist told me to keep on brushing and it didnt work. What should i do? Is there any medicene i can use to stop this? Am afraid to lose my teeth too early, please help.
I recommend that you visit a periodontist. At the age of 20, there is one type of gum disease that may affect younger individuals and may cause severe tissue loss in a short time. The decay problem is probably related to your diet, too. Thus, in addition to brushing/flossing regularly and using a correct brushing technique, you should work on your diet (no pop, etc.). You should also have a regular check-up including professional dental cleaning.
