I went to have some tests run for my heart and it showed I have sinus arrythmia. Could you tell me what that is and is it serious? Do I need to keep an eye on it? Thank you
Sinus arrhythmia is actually a good thing! All it means is that your heart rate increases and decreases with your breathing. This is seen in young, healthy hearts. Loss of heart rate variability occurs in the elderly and with heart disease.
So sinus arrhythmia is a sign that your heart is healthy.
