Xolair Treatment12/13/2006 |
I would like to know if Xolair has been successful in treating someone with aspirin sensitive asthma. I am pretty sure I have an overactive IgE response, and was wondering if I could benefit from these injections.
Xolair is not approved for the treatment of asthma associated with aspirin intolerance. Xolair should only be used for allergic (IgE-mediated) asthma,the severity status of which should be moderately severe or severe. It will not have any effect on aspirin intolerance and is contraindicated in this situation.
