Where is my period?
I had my baby five months ago. I am breast feeding and have two periods. The first one was in January and then one in Feb thirty days apart and more than four days long. I am on the mini pill and we use the pull out method.
so i guess my question is; is it comman for your period to come and then go again while breastfeeding or could i be pregnant?
Periods can come and go during breastfeeding. They usually signal that an ovulation has occurred.
Ovulations are more likely to occur when formula is used or solids are begun.
The mini pill has been known to decrease milk supply, forcing the use of formula.
So, pregnancy is a possibility. Pregnancy will also reduce the amount of milk produced, but it is not necessary to stop breastfeeding even if you are pregnant. You will simply be using more formula and other foods as time goes on.
You may want to test your urine if you really want to know.
