Tests for Evaluating Enlarged Prostate04/18/2007 |
Age 69. I`ve had an enlarged prostate for years. My PSA level is 8.9. I really don`t want the knife/penis test. What are my options?
Your PSA is elevated and it can be a sign of several things. The elevated PSA could result from inflammation or infection, enlargement or prostate cancer. I would advise you to see a Urologist to evaluate you. No knives are involved nor should your penis.
