Question:

Would arthritis of the hip cause a person to have a parkinson`s disease type shuffle? How do you or the doctors tell the difference?

Answer:

Arthritis of the hip may cause a person to walk with a shuffling gait. An x-ray of the hip would provide the answer if there is significant degenerative arthritis.
