14 yr old with large hard knot inside tongue05/09/2007 |
the large painful knot cannot be seen, only felt. It came up overnight. ENT says, maybe a mucus cyst, but the info I have says they are not hard and don`t develop very quickly. We were advised to wait a week. Should we seek other treatment from dental or oral surgeon first or wait?
I would wait the week to see if it goes away. If not, I would definitely see on oral surgeon or oral pathologist.
