Pulmonary Hypertension |
Are echos a good judge of pulmonary hyper.?05/11/2007 |
If pressures are elevated during and exercise echo, but are normal during right heart cath? Does that indicated pulmonary Hypertension?
The pulmonary artery pressures will normally increase during exercise and does not always imply the individual has pulmonary hypertension. If the pulmonary artery pressure and cardiac output are normal on right heart catheterization, the person does not have pulmonary hypertension.
