Control Arthritic Pain06/04/2007 |
I have rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and might also have fibromyalgia. I am taking a lot of medications for those problems. But I still have pain. I would love to get off some or all those medications. I already use heat and ice, rest and exercise, and trying to trick my brain into believing that I don`t have constant pain.
Is there any thing else I can do to help control the pain?
Systemic or diffuse inflammatory pain is difficult to treat. You should have an evaluation with a Pain specialist and may benefit from a Pain Rehabilitation Program or another modality depending on the clinical situation upon evaluation.
