Teeth and lip alignment05/31/2007 |
My top and bottom teeth are perfectly aligned. However, my top middle line (between my two front teeth) is not aligned with the center of my top lip. As a result, when I smile my teeth are going in one direction and my lips in another. Can this be fixed and how? Thanks for your advice.
It is not uncommon to have the midline of the teeth not on line with the midline of the lip. If you have had orthodontics, I would recommend you go back to your orthodontist for advice. If you have not had orthodontics, it would still be advisable to ask what can be done. There may be a shift of one of the arches of teeth which could be corrected by orthodontic treatment.
