Combining Adderall and Atenolol06/13/2007 |
I currently take 50mg/day of Atenolol (beta blocker) for high blood pressure. I would like to try adderall for ADHD. Will combining these two medications have bad side effects?
I often use Atenolol for my patients who get a little too much caffeine-like effects from stimulant medications but still really need them. It is always important to monitor your blood pressure when first using a stimulant and will be particularly true if you take atenolol for that reason.
