Baby aspirin and other pain relievers07/06/2007 |
If I am taking low dose (81 mg) baby aspirin, can I take ibuprofen as a pain reliever for other problems:, i.e., sore muscles, headache, or other pains.
If you do not have a history of peptic ulcer disease then yes. Make sure not to take the ibuprofen frequently (few times a month is fine). Also, make sure to take the Ibuprofen with milk or food. If you experience any stomach pain or black stools then you must stop the Ibuprofen and seek medical attention. Best regards and hope the above helps.
