Left Elbow and Knee Pain

07/02/2007

Question:

I am 40 years old, female with constant left knee only pain. It pops when I flex to relieve pain, the pain is a dull throb constantly, heating pad relieves for a while then starts again, feels like I constantly need to flex my leg to pop. I didn't hurt or injure it recently. In my elbow on the left side, I cannot lift bags or anything slightly heavy, when I make fist or stretch out my arm and flex wrist pain in the elbow intensifies. Again didn't strain or hurt arm recently.

Can you explain?

Answer:

I am not sure from the description that it can give me a clear idea of what the problem could be. I would advise you to visit an orthopedic surgeon at first. Thank you.
