Veins in your tongue

07/09/2007

Question:

If I want to pierce my tongue myself, is their a vein in the middle of my tongue? I see the two veins on the side.

Answer:

I would not do it.  The tongue is a vascular organ with a lot of micro-arteries and veins; it will be a lot of bleeding. Look for professional assistance.
