Possible joint damage

Question:

I have RA for 3 years and my fingers on my left hand are tilted towards my thumb. Does that mean that I have joint damgae and if I do is there any way to get them straight agian?

Answer:

In RA, when there is joint damage, the fingers usually tilt away from the thumb. However, anything is possible. If this due to RA in your case, be reassured that surgeons can often correct the deformity.
