Suburethral sling complications07/11/2007 |
How can i tell if my suburethral sling has fallen? I am 3 weeks out of surgery?
Following placement of synthetic slings there is always a sensation of irritation in vaginal and urethral region. However the incidence of erosion is not uncommon. Erosion usually causes bladder and urethral symptoms as well as infection and blood in urine. The sling does not fall out but if not secured enough you could still leak urine. Talk to your surgeon.
