High Blood Pressure
hi sir,i just want to ask you a qestion...sir,why do we need to explained the procedure to the client before initiating it?
Yes. You should always explain to the patient what you are going to do and why your are doing it. The patient should be relaxed and know what to expect. It is important that the patient is reassured that there is no discomfort or risk to the procedure.
This is of course no longer needed if you have already taken blood pressures of that patient during a previous visit. You may still need to explain, however, why repeat measurements and long term follow-up with blood pressure readings is necessary.
