Hypochlorite extrusion beyond the root apex07/19/2007 |
My dentist, unfortunatly I did not go to an endodontist, messed up my root canal. She was not paying attention and the results were Hypochlorite Extrusion beyond the root apex. This resulted in my eye swelling shut, extream pain, and a trip to the emergency room. My question is 3 weeks later I still have a lot of pain in my face and my vision is still blurry in my left eye. How long will this last?
There is no set timeframe for healing. Every person heals differently depending on their immune system and the degree of the trauma. Continue to have your physician and/or dentist monitor the healing and be sure to report all of your symptoms to them and whether or not they are improving or worsening.
