Lower Back Pain

Question:

My husband is 64 year old . He has diabetes type2, gout, high blood pressure,vascular calcification in brain,atherosclerosis cardiovascular disease severe anemia. He been suffering from lower back and knee pain.

Can the pain be from kidney disease? I would like to know your opinion.

Answer:

The pain is very likely not from kidney disease but could be from the diabetes, atherosclerosis or arthritis. Your husband should discuss this pain with his doctor.
