My friend has anemia and has to have blood transfusions every 2 weeks. This sounds serious to me. I understand that his bone marrow isn`t producing enough red blood cells. Is this a disease?
This could be a problem with the bone marrow which is causing her to not produce enough red blood cells. There are many diseases which could cause this, and several tests may be required to determine the reason for the anemia.
