Sebaceous cyst

07/30/2007

Question:

can a sebaceous cyst make you sick?

Answer:

Unless it is traumatized and gets secondarily infected (with swelling, purulent discharge, etc), I don't see how a sebaceous cyst can make one sick. The process is usually limited to the skin.
