Strange bump on scalp08/22/2007 |
About 6 months ago I noticed a small bumb on my scalp it is the color of my skin. It hasn`t gotten bigger, or changed colors. Sometimes I scratch it, and it feels like I scratch off a scab. Then the bumb will re-appear. I`m worried that this might be cancerous. Do you think I should get it looked at ? Do you think I should be concerned? Any information would be helpful.
Hello, thank you for your question. It is difficult without seeing your bump to tell you what it could be. I would recommend that you see a dermatologist, who can evaluate it clinically and possibly take a biopsy of the area, or remove it completely, if they think that it is necessary.
