Peri-menopause/menopause and migraines

I have never had migraines and have been having headaches on and off for 5 weeks saw a physician yesterday and he thinks that I might have migraines. Sometimes they have been associated with some nausea. I am almost menopausal.

It is not uncommon for headaches/migraines to become more frequent during the menopause transition. It is less common for headaches to start then. Follow up with your physician to be sure nothing else is causing the headaches.
