Root Canals |
Root canal08/15/2007 |
I got my 2 front teeth nocked out years ago and they did a root canal put my teeth back in. is that a normal thing to do. What else could I do.
If the two teeth are still present, then the treatment was successful and nothing else should have been done. You currently should have the teeth checked and x-rayed each year to make sure that the roots of the teeth are still intact and that there is no pathology developing. Sometimes the body actually resorbs (eats away or dissolves) the roots of teeth that were knocked out. If this begins to happen and it is caught soon enough, there is treatment to try to stop the process.
