Clogged salivary gland08/29/2007 |
two or three times a year I experiance what I feel is a clogged salivary gland on the right side of my mouth. suddenly it will begin to swell just below my ear causing pain when I try to eat. It will go away if I don`t chew but it takes about 3 days then a little stone like item will come out of my cheek inside my mouth and if I push on the swelling below my ear it will drain in my mouth and then be fine. What causes this and is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening or do I just live with it.
I suggest you see your local dentist when the swelling is present.
