Arthritis and Rheumatism

Regarding sudden pain in the palm of my hand

08/21/2007

Question:

I work primarily with my hands all day, pushing and pulling for seven years now. The other day I was reaching infor something and suddenly I experienced a zap of pain right in the center of my palm, no where else on my hand or wrist. It eventually calmed down, but I am getting these "zaps" more frequent now. Can you tell me what this could be and what direction I should take for healing, if any? Thanks

Answer:

Hard to tell without an examination. See your doctor.
