I am almost 18 yrs old. My bottom front teeth the four front teeth are not so straight. I want to know how long I`ll have to wear braces if I get them at this age.
While the majority of orthodontic patients are in the 10 to 18 year range in age you are certainly not "too old for braces." The length of time depends on the degree of crowding. Remember that lower crowding can be from a deep bite or other problems, so it is possible that to correct the lower teeth, the upper teeth may need to be involved. These are the kinds of questions you need to ask the orthodontist after you have been examined.
