Still having a period08/27/2007 |
I am 56 and still have regular periods is this normal when will my periods stop
You are just outside the range of normal for menopause (ages 41-55), but that does not necessarily mean there is a problem. If you are overweight, having heavy menses, spotting in between menses, you may need further evaluation. It would be good to review your situation with your physician. I am assuming you are not taking oral contraceptives which can make you have a period indefinitely.
