Myasthenia Gravis

Topical capcaicin cream

Question:

Is topical Capcaicin safe for use on the arthritic hands of a person with severe MG?

Or is there some ingredient in the Capcaicin which people with Myasthenia should avoid taking?

Answer:

I do not see why you could not use this topical cream with MG. If you have questions or concerns about medications you are taking, you should consult the physician treating your MG.
