What are symptoms of Sarcoid once it is diagnosed on the brain?
Sarcoidosis can affect the brain in many ways. The symptoms can range from changes in personality to seizures and stroke-like symptoms (loss of feeling or strength in certain parts of the body). In some cases it is difficult to prove that a person has sarcoidosis involving the brain (neurosarcoidosis). A biopsy of the affected area is the best way to make the diagnosis of sarcoidosis, but that procedure carries significant risk when the brain is the target.Treatment of neurosarcoidosis is often more involved than sarcoidosis involving other parts of the body. Stronger treatments are usually needed to control it.
