Teeth loosening10/05/2007 |
I just went to the dentist and all 4 molars both top and bottom on the left side of my mouth are loose...what do u think could have caused it and I dont know what to do??
I do not have enough information to talk about the cause.
1- Can be that you have periodontal disease and loosing bone around your teeth
2- Can be that you are grinding your teeth or bruxing your teeth (especially at night)
3- Can be due to malocclusion (your biting may be causing trauma)
In any case, periodontal disease should be treated to prevent further bone loss; occlusal trauma can be controlled by trying to use a custom-made nightguard.
