Severe Migraine or Stroke10/02/2007 |
I am a 23 year old female who was diagnosed with migraines at age 15. Today I felt as though I had a sinus headache (not a migraine), and took Sudafed and Aleve. Soon afterward however, I got this thunderclap headache that made me scream out, and I have been in severe pain since then. The pain is also in my neck and along my upper (outer) arm. Is this a migraine or cluster headache or stroke?Thanks
Please, seek medical attention urgently. I am very concerned about your recent headache. You must be seen now at the closest Emergency room for immediate CT scan and evaluation by the emergency room physician.
