Can you pop a blood vessel in the back of your head? For example, when I would ran really hard in basketball I would feel this pain and then a rush of blood or some flow. What is that?
Superficial vessels in the skin can rupture, but they don't usually cause bleeding outside of the skin or any real symptoms other than mild discomfort. The pain you are describing is not likely due to rupturing a vessel superficially. Any larger vessels (arteries) that would be ruptured would cause a lot of symptoms and make you extremely symptomatic very quickly and would be very obvious.
