Numbness & tingling in arms & legs10/24/2007 |
I have pain in my right wrist with numbness, on and off through out the day, in my middle and far right finger. I have pain in my left ankle and some numbness in that leg and foot but only sporadically. Both the other arm and leg don`t seem to have the numbness. I am a 40+ 215 lb female with no other medical problems. What can this be?
It is difficult to tell what is the cause of your symptoms without evaluation. I doubt, however, this represents stroke symptoms. One possibility is pinched nerve or arthritis. I recommend evaluation by your primary MD who will decide about the need for a Neurology service referral.
