My Mother died of Pancreatic Cancer is there any way I can watch for warning signs of the disease in my self or my daughter. Does this mean I should be concerned about my chances of contracting pancreatic cancer.
The majority of pancreatic cases are not inherited. The best prevention will be to avoid smoking, which is the most common identifiable risk factor. The other things to do are: stay alert and stay on annual checkups.
