Brain MRI results

Question:

I am a 54-year-old teacher with episodes of short term memory loss. Brain MRI results show single 4 mm focus of hyperintensity on FLAIR images within the left centrum semiovale. Can this indicate early signs of Alzheimer`s or dementia? Thank you.
