Right out of the blue my sister start feeling sick to her stomach and she felt like she had to trow up but nothing came up. Then she got the chills and feeling very tired. I though it was the stomach flu. Today she can`t eat any thing solid. She can swallow liquid bt nothing solid. She tired something solid and she go chest pain and pain in the top of her stomach. What would be some of the possibilies what right out of the blue she can`t eat solid foods? Could it be some problem in her esophagus, acid reflux, or what? Thanks
Yes, there could be a narrowing in her esophagus that is making it difficult for her to swallow solids. I would recommend she be evaluated further for this.
